If you use SMB scanning to a shared folder, upgrading to Windows 10 often prevents your scan from being received. We moved the guest OS to an actual server running the same OS as the guest. To recover lost files from a folder, move to 'Select Folder' and click 'Browse' to choose the exact folder where you lost files and click 'OK'. Windows 10 would default this to Public and SMB will not work under that setting.
